6. The foster home shall keep the animal as a household pet and shall not use it for breeding or exclusively as a guard or hunting dog.
7. If considering adoption, an adoption application must be submitted for consideration.  Please understand that unless an adoption agreement is executed, the animal will be returned to the Collie and Sheltie Rescue Association of SEVA.

8. The foster home, from the date of the signed contract, agrees to release and indemnify the Collie and Sheltie Rescue Association of SEVA from any and all claims, known and unknown, now or hereafter arising in connection with the animal.

Please Note: If anyone residing in the foster home has ever been convicted of animal cruelty, neglect, or abandonment of an animal, the home will not be eligible for adoption.

We are in need of foster families to take in our pups and give them a home until their forever home is found!  We need homes both with other dogs and without a dog.  Maybe you are a person who does not want to take on a dog forever due to your vacation plans, etc.  You can still help by fostering for a short time.  Fosters may be there from a couple weeks to a few months.  We will always work with you, move a dog if the situation does not work for all parties involved or if you have a situation arise.  Please submit an application by clicking on the link below and indicate that it is for fostering.  Fostering is a very rewarding experience!
